The Salvation Army is a nonprofit organization offering services in over 135 countries around the world, and in every zip code of the United States. Salvation Army Programs are led by Salvation Army Officers. These officers are responsible to lead by assessing needs, delivering programs and directing ministries for our local community. From serving food to balancing the books, they function as the Executive Directors and the Pastors for the Lodi Corps.

Your Lodi Officers

Major Phyllis & Richard Pease

  • Hope Harbor Shelter & Family Service Center - The largest shelter in Lodi that provides men, women, and single parents with children a warm, safe place to stay. Guests may stay 56 nights per calendar year with an option for extensions should they enter into case management.  Hope Harbor offers overnight shelter and provides a dinner meal to anyone in need 365 days a year. Programs include linkage to supportive social services needed to overcome homelessness.
  • We track when people leave our program for what they self-disclose as “permanent housing”, and we may occasionally have some recommendations or resources when there is housing available - we do not specifically have the ability to move people into any permanent housing at this time.

Hope Harbor also offers a program that helps prepare men and women for entry in The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center program. After completing the 6-month recovery program, Hope Harbor, offers access to transitional housing and other resources.

On Friday's Hope Harbor provides a "Friday Fair"  offering showers, haircuts, a clothing exchange, and other resources to those needing a hand-up.
