How we can help

Hope Harbor is the largest shelter in Lodi which can accommodate women with children, men, and single-family units. It is also the only shelter in the area that can house single fathers with children. Clients may stay 56 nights per calendar year with an option for a 28-day extension should they enter into case management.

Additionally, Hope Harbor offers overnight shelter and provides a dinner meal to anyone in need 365 days a year.

We track when people leave our program for what they self-disclose as “permanent housing”, and we may occasionally have some recommendations or resources when there is housing available - we do not specifically have the ability to move people into any permanent housing at this time.

Lodging, Programs & More

This 104-bed facility provides lodging, two meals a day, showers, laundry facilities and social service programs. Programs include linkage to temporary housing and to other supportive social services needed to overcome homelessness.

Hope Harbor also offers a program that helps prepare men and women to enter The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center. Participants are offered transitional housing and assistance after completing the 6-month program. This ensures a safe environment while they are working on re-establishing themselves and are getting ready to re-enter the community.

On Friday's the Hope Harbor shelter provides a "Friday Fair" to offer resources such as showers, haircuts, clothing exchange, and other resources to those needing a hand-up.
